The Power of Self-Discipline in Student Life
Dear Students and readers,
On this beautiful occasion of Teachers day, I want to share some learnings that I have obtained from my teachers and I always find them helpful.
From more than 10 years of my teaching journey, I have got many colourful, vibrant students. So for all those students and readers, here are some pro tips on the topic "Self discipline".
Self discipline is very crucial aspect for any student. Have you come across the situations where you have started something with full motivation and soon you felt yourself lazy, lack of motivation and determination?
If you have experienced this, then just read the upcoming words carefully.
1. When you start some task, you need to promise to yourself or you can write your commiment on a sheet of paper, then whenever you are feeling lack of motivation or activeness, just read that sheet and you will be able to maintain your motivation soon.
2. You need to understand that a big goal can only be achieved by breaking it into simple tasks, so just try to complete those small tasks everyday without any accuse. Be honest with yourself during complete journey.
3. I saw many students who quickly go with their smart phones or tabs during their studies. Remember that learning from the books and notebooks is always a great way in self studies. Try to minimize the use of screens during your self studies.
4. If you are feeling that use of the phone or computer is needed then you should try to give some specific time in order to complete that work but try to minimize the frequent use of smartphones in class and self studies.
5. In some recent research studies it has been found that students who are using a lot of screen, they are suffering from many health issues like myopia, frustrating minds, isolation. Students are with the family members only physically but mentally they are not present there.
6. Always keep yourself aligned with the Nature or God, the power of supreme. If you are thinking that nobody is helping you or no one is there to help you then at that moment just have complete faith on the God because that is the only driving force at that time of your struggle.
7. Always be connected with the people emotionally, you should have the basic fundamental things in your character like Satya, Prem, Karuna. If you are seeing something that is harming our nature, by nature I mean that all the living creatures like birds, butterfly, fish, cow, street dogs etc. try to take care of those also. It will make you a good human being.
8. Keep your eye on the recent developments of the world. I see many students who are just focusing on their life and they don't bother about INDIA. As a responsible tutor I urge and always see my students with lot of patriotic feelings. Remember, you need to be good in all the areas of life and your excellence should give benefit to our nation, that's your ultimate responsibily because you belongs to the soil of this nation and if you will not return something to this soil, the soil will never be happy from you. So just love your nation.
9. Although there are so many students in the life of a teacher, but only few students remain in the heart of teacher and these studetns are those who love their parents and respect their parents and also their Gurujans, so try to have these good habits in you life.
10. Last but not the least, I would like to thank all those students who wished me and called me on this day, I know you guys are doing great in your life and I really wish that God will give all the happiness in your pocket. Have a great life ahead!
Don't forget to comment after reading it.
